My dear friend Joel showed me this video just about a year ago when, on the eve of our graduation, we bonded over our undeniable closeness to the most majestic animals on Earth (Beluga whales for him and Orcas for me) and our shared love of Eighties music. I love it so much, and I have since forced anyone who means anything to me to watch this youtube masterpiece at least once!
At long last I have seen my Killer Whales in the wild, and I must confess I feel more complete. And I'm addicted; I simply cannot wait until I have another opportunity to stand a foot away from my finned friends! Too bad I didn't like science class, otherwise I could have made a career out of following the Orcas around the sea.
